March Rolls in like a Lion...and goes out like a Lamb!

Image result for march lion and lamb clip art

This week we talked a lot about the different types of weather in March. We specifically focused on how March can sometimes feel like a "lion:" it can be cold and windy, or in can sometimes feel like a "lamb," and be warm and comfortable!

We tracked the weather for the week, and so far we have had all "lion" days. Hopefully we will get some "lamb" days soon!

Procedural Shares:

This week we finished up our procedural shares during morning meeting. We learned so much about how to do all different types of things!!

Dr. Seuss is our Author of the Month for March! After reading several stories by Dr. Seuss so far, we took a class vote on our favorite. Check out the results below!!!

Mystery Reader!
Our class loves when a family member comes to the class to read us a story!
Thank you to Mrs. Crowley for coming in to be our class Mystery Reader on Friday! The children loved the story the Princess and the Pony!

Book Share
Starting next week, we will be starting a new share during Morning Meeting! We will be doing a book share. Please help your child select an appropriate book that he/she is familiar with, to bring in and share with the class. When it is your child's turn to share, please help him/her prepare by discussing the title of the book, the author/illustrator, what the story is about, and what he/she likes best about the book.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you in advance for your support at home!!
