Happy April Vacation!

Your Kindergartener has been working so hard over the past few months and I hope each student enjoys his/her time off from school!!! Feel free to have your child write in his/her April Vacation journals as an optional, but fun writing activity next week. I can't wait to hear all about their week off!

Students working hard at centers this week!

Our sunflower seeds have sprouted!

Guiding Questions:
-Ask your child what he/she will do to protect the Earth in honor of Earth Day (April 22nd)
-Ask your child about our new "snack story time." We each take turns reading one of our books from our book bins aloud to the class during snack!
-Ask your child about his/her plant. Please note children brought their plants home in a white paper bag. Please feel free to plant the seed into soil or a garden at home!

Looking Ahead:
When we return from our April Vacation, we will be focusing on:
- Learning about living and nonliving things, especially insects
- Researching Ladybugs
- Writing a class book about ladybugs

Don't Forget...
-To send back Lego Land permission/chaperone slips
-To send back green student information sheets

I hope you have a happy and safe week off!
