Decem-BURRR!

Dear Families:
I hope everyone has been staying warm as we enter the month of December and the Winter season! This past week has truly began to feel like winter.

Please check out some of our "December-doings" this week! We have talked a lot about animals, and how they survive during the cold months of winter.

EnVisionMath: 
This week, we finished Topic 4, comparing numbers to 10. Next week, we will begin Topic 5, which will feature numbers up to 20. By the end of the topic, students will be able to count, identify, and write numbers up to 20.

Guiding Questions:
- What are some words that begin with j?
- What are some words that begin with the letter p?
- What do animals do in the winter to survive?
- What are some things that we do in the winter to stay warm?
- Ask your child to count as high as he/she can?
