The past few weeks have been busy and fun! Check out what we have been up to!
A"MAY"ZING Authors!
We have been working on our very own individual research books. Last week, students each picked a zoo animal (giraffe or elephant) and collected research on what the animal looks like, what it eats, where it lives, and cool facts about it. This week, we have been taking the facts from our research and turning them into "fancy" sentences. By the end of next week, each student will have his/her very own informative book about a giraffe or elephant!!!
We can't wait to show you our finished book, and more of our writing from this year, on the day of our Kindergarten Celebration - June 14th!
Releasing our Butterflies and Ladybugs!
Spring Crafts!
We did some fun crafts before our field trip to the zoo! We made our own elephant, based on the story Elmer. We also painted our own giraffe or elephant!

Zoo Field Trip!
On Friday, we had perfect weather to be outside exploring at the zoo! Students had a great time exploring all the exhibits with their chaperones. A HUGE THANK YOU to all the parents who helped out on this field trip!! We couldn't do it without you!!
